They had hollow rush breathing tubes. They would sometimes use water as cover. But yes, it is not necessary to have realistic water, and it would slow down many computers (e.g. mine). One of the cool things about Wolfire's fighting games though is that you can handle the situation however you want, they could be "sneaking games", slasher games (I guess), or anything else really. They are flexible and open-ended enough to meet all kinds of players' needs.

I think "Hey! Ourselves from the future have sent us the code for a flawless, bug free high tech version of overgrowth. It can run on practically anything, includes over 100 days of play time if your charging through the main quest, and a dynamic world with all kinds of economic and ecological simulations. It even keeps track of every individual grain of sand in the deserts!" would knock me off my chair if it was true.
Re: What announcement would make you so happy?
minecraft type crafting, without any farming
Re: What announcement would make you so happy?
I don't think the word "Minecraft" should be allowed in these forums, just incase the creators decide the fans/preorders are inexcusable shitpiles on their massive money plate. I don't believe they will, I'm just trying to say something about.... Hell, I don't even know anymore.Best1996 wrote:minecraft type crafting, without any farming

Is it me, or did I hear somewhere that Overgrowth is thinking about doing something with Steam? If so then they should be looking at Overgrowth on the PS3, since Steam plans to link with Sony.

Re: What announcement would make you so happy?
Linux native build.
I was actually waiting for that to pre-order, but decided to pre-order now figuring they could use my support with the Mac App Store BS.

That's what pissed me off about Assassin's Creed Brotherhood. Console users are busy downloading dlcs, and I'm still waiting for it to release on PC.Ozymandias wrote:or the Mac and PC versions will be delayed for the sake of releasing everything at the same time.
P.S. Do not say "get a PS3 or Xbox 360" because I'm not going to.

For those wondering about online, there are interface files already into the alphas of a server browser and Server creator, with Deathmatch and Cooperative modes.
I doubt theyre the final version but atleast it means david has taken the time to program them so... (may mean good news)
