Black V White

Post by key2van » Wed Jan 05, 2011 5:42 pm

Preview of my next level Black V White
It will include scripting mods, a few weapon textures, and about 3-5 black faction and white faction rabbit skins. The skins for the characters and weapons are very basic, and as i said, they are only previews. This level may look small now, but i will spread out everything, making it huge. It will have many buildings and cool spots to jump from and hide in.

I have actually drawn the buildings first on paper, and then started to make them, and the styles of the buildings differ among the factions. The White Rabbits will have very organized, accessible, and modern buildings, while the Black rabbits will have smaller buildings that are not connected with one another, but will allow for great hiding places.

I have already noticed that the whites are far too bright, and i will fix them.

Very rough and basic skin. Hammer is called "The Illuminator" and the rabbit is called Puma.

Another basic texture, but for black faction. Hammer is called Black Thunder, and rabbits name is Scar(because he has a scar on his eye =P)

The thing in the middle of the floor is temporarily used as a divider to distinguish the size of each factions ground.

That's pretty cool, How do you make the Black/White buildings and such?

you can easily modify crete textures using photoshop or other editing software to be any color you want. But if you do, you have to save the new texture as a tga or dds. if you choose to save as a dds file and are using photoshop, you will need the nvidia photoshop plugins.
They can be found here:

if you have any questions at all, feel free to ask :D

It works fine to use like png or jpg also doesn't it? I use png for all my textures.

You should. ;)
On second thought, jpg doesn't have transparency support, so if it works the objects will be pretty damn shiny. :P

Png works though.
