How did you find out about Overgrowth?

i found it while Nerd3 was reviewing it.

I found it out by looking at Nerd3's video on it (like Chith). He called it good so then I bought it.

I, like many others, found out about Overgrowth from the NerdCubed video. Despite wanting it for years, I only recently actually bought the game.

Steam was like "YO!" You'd totally like this. And I was intrigued by the humanoid bunny. And then when I released it was a parkour fighter I was like SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY

Casey Muratori mentioned the procedural animation talk by David Rosen in the Q&A of Handmade Hero so I thought lets check that out.

After watching the talk and some of the projects youtube videos I just wanted to be part of it !

My uncle gave me a flash drive full of games from a humble bundle he got, including Gish and a couple others, I don't remember all the contents. But one of the games was Lugaru, and I sat and played that on the crappy little netbook I had pretty much all day until I finished it. It remained in the back of my memory until I heard about Overgrowth on the internet some way or another, probably through YouTube. I was so excited about it, but didn't have any money. That was a couple years ago, and now that I have a job and saw this on Steam I decided to buy it.

I found it when i saw a video from nerd^3 about the game, i instantly fell in love with it.

I watched that video by Nerdcubed, 3 years ago. He was just looking at another indie game, but i was blow away by the game engine, the premise and the flawless execution. Love at first sight. I waited for overgrowth to reach a later stage in it's development, about a year ago, then pre-ordered it.

I was watching a YouTuber named Officialnerdcubed and saw his overgrowth ideo and thought it was a a pretty good game. A while later I started watching Jacksepticeye and his overgrowth videos then i thought that i should preorder it because it looked like a really good game... and i was right!

So lately, Overgrowth preorders are somewhat through the roof compared to what we have been used to... I am really curious where they are coming from.

So I ask, how did you guys hear about Overgrowth and what made you preorder it?

Is it by association of the Humble Bundle? YouTube videos? ModDB? Please let me know!

I actually fo8nd out aobut years ago from a Youtuber by tghe name of nerd3 (nerdcubed) And i saw all of the feaytures and though "This looks amazing!" so i eventually pre-ordered it myself.

I remember watching an old video on officialnerdcubed's channel back in what I believe was 2013, but it could have been earlier. He showcased the combat and the movement and I was instantly fascinated.

My brother showed me the alpha videos that david releases and I was instantly hooked.
