Re: Mod: Main Menu with Custom Maps (Over 45 user maps inclu
Sweet! I was going to suggest this, but Skyrim came out and I forgot.
Re: Mod: Main Menu with Custom Maps (Over 50 user maps inclu
whenever i try to download it, it says it can't access the file. anyone know how to fix that?
Re: Mod: Main Menu with Custom Maps (Over 50 user maps inclu
I'm not sure, I'd need more info. Is it in a folder with a space in it? Do any of the parent directories have a space? That can cause problems for some people, although it doesn't for me. Also make sure you're running the bat file, since that will fix problems with admin privileges.
Re: Mod: Main Menu with Custom Maps (Over 50 user maps inclu
You also need to have Java installed for it to run... that was a problem for me...keppy210 wrote:whenever i try to download it, it says it can't access the file. anyone know how to fix that?
When are you getting that error, and what are your system specs?
Re: Mod: Main Menu with Custom Maps (Over 50 user maps inclu
i got it, i had to move the files to my desktop then run them. it works now. But i was wondering how i could copy the forgotten plains map because it does not show up in my project 60 file.
Re: Mod: Main Menu with Custom Maps (Over 50 user maps inclu
Yeah, the name of that level doesn't match the file... the file name you are looking for is "PlainsHill_IGF.xml". That would be the one to copy if you want to edit from there.keppy210 wrote:i got it, i had to move the files to my desktop then run them. it works now. (I just saw your reply in the other thread, so here's that file you're asking for... )
Re: Mod: Main Menu with Custom Maps (Over 50 user maps inclu
Some of the default levels are just in the levels folder, and some have different names. I'm not sure which that one's file is, try TerrainSculpt2_IGF, but it could be something else.

I can't seem to run the batch file for installation? It says "javaw could not be launched: 2"
Re: Mod: Main Menu with Custom Maps (Over 50 user maps inclu
Hopefully Aaron will get back to you soon, but I can tell you two things, make sure you have Java installed (I didn't when I first tried to use the installer ) and make sure no folders in your path have a space in them. If that doesn't fix it, let us know...a_lemming wrote:I can't seem to run the batch file for installation? It says "javaw could not be launched: 2"

It sounds to me like Java is not installed; if you do have Java installed, please let me know so that I can help you get it working!ariehl wrote:Hopefully Aaron will get back to you soon, but I can tell you two things, make sure you have Java installed (I didn't when I first tried to use the installer ) and make sure no folders in your path have a space in them. I do have java installed, java 6 update 30 (64-bit). Also just tried Java 7 update 2 64-bit, same results. There are also no spaces in the path either (C:\Users\Rees\Desktop\ogmodautodownloader_windows)
Re: Mod: Main Menu with Custom Maps (Over 50 user maps inclu
Ah, after doing a bit of messing around I believe I've found the source of the problem; for some reason, your system does not see your Java install.a_lemming wrote:I do have java installed, java 6 update 30 (64-bit). You should be able to get around this by modifying the OGModAutoDownloader.bat file to include the Java runtime path.
Here is the original file:
Code: Select all
elevate.exe javaw -jar %CD%\ogmodautodownloader.jar
Code: Select all
elevate.exe "C:\Program Files\Java\jre7\bin\javaw.exe" -jar %CD%\ogmodautodownloader.jar
