I'm not sure, I'd need more info. Is it in a folder with a space in it? Do any of the parent directories have a space? That can cause problems for some people, although it doesn't for me. Also make sure you're running the bat file, since that will fix problems with admin privileges.

You also need to have Java installed for it to run... that was a problem for me...

When are you getting that error, and what are your system specs?

Yeah, the name of that level doesn't match the file... the file name you are looking for is "PlainsHill_IGF.xml". That would be the one to copy if you want to edit from there.

(I just saw your reply in the other thread, so here's that file you're asking for...
PlainsHills_IGF.xml

Some of the default levels are just in the levels folder, and some have different names. I'm not sure which that one's file is, try TerrainSculpt2_IGF, but it could be something else.

I can't seem to run the batch file for installation? It says "javaw could not be launched: 2"

Hopefully Aaron will get back to you soon, but I can tell you two things, make sure you have Java installed (I didn't when I first tried to use the installer  ) and make sure no folders in your path have a space in them. If that doesn't fix it, let us know...

It sounds to me like Java is not installed; if you do have Java installed, please let me know so that I can help you get it working!

I do have java installed, java 6 update 30 (64-bit). Also just tried Java 7 update 2 64-bit, same results. There are also no spaces in the path either (C:\Users\Rees\Desktop\ogmodautodownloader_windows)

Ah, after doing a bit of messing around I believe I've found the source of the problem; for some reason, your system does not see your Java install.

You should be able to get around this by modifying the OGModAutoDownloader.bat file to include the Java runtime path.

Here is the original file:

Code: Select all

elevate.exe javaw -jar %CD%\ogmodautodownloader.jar
And here is an example of the modified script (if the path is wrong, adjust it to fit your computer):

Code: Select all

elevate.exe "C:\Program Files\Java\jre7\bin\javaw.exe" -jar %CD%\ogmodautodownloader.jar
Let me know if this works for you!
