Welcome to Emerald Valley!

Thats what i calls it :) but I couldn't rename it without all my objects being deleted. If you like it go ahead and dowload. I've posted i quick video, but I didnt want to give away yoo much of the final map so myaybe you can explore around a bit yourselves. This is actually my first map but i spent alot of time on it.I'd be interested to see if anybody modifies this map, and I challenge anyone to fill the entire map. If you do, I'll try to think of some sort of reward.

I posted a step by step guide for finding the cached files if you still need it. It is here.

Looks like it's working. :)

Also, I was able to rename that file the way you wanted, so you can probably do that now too. :)

It's actually quite amazing! You have a lot of the small details that I was imagining in my map, only I was never able to quite get there. I also like how you created things that don't exist (like the Wing Chun dummy, and the street lamps!) It's all very cool! Makes me want to get back to my map... which I will in time...

Thatched roofs! I was also going to do a map with those. :D Do you have any plans for how you're going to do the roofs?

you can walk through it like its not there. might be useful for a house or hidden entrance.

Probably just gonna experiment with objects i have for now, though thats not exactly all there is to the next map.

It might save time, but another way to do this without a mod is to take advantage of the currently broken group function. Just group a door or wall and move it, now you can run through the model and not hit the grouped object. It leaves an invisible wall where the grouped object use to be. Is this what happened?

Either way using the group function is a good way of messing with people, and creating hidden passages. I hope that helps you later.

i hate when that happens.... you make a cool object and start copying it and placing it around, but the map gets messed up because you can walk through everything :| .

I think they become solid of you save and then load the map, don't they?

Your right, the grouped objects become solid after you save, quit, and load.

On a slightly more on-topic note I'll be posting the Mazes of Madness map within the next two days. I just have a few more paths and a whole lot of walls to add. The ending is hard to see, so you may run in quite a few circles after you find it.

EDIT: It's taking a while to wall the map without making it lag. So while you wait you can have a delicious cake. :D

It's made of random objects, so no extra texture files needed.

Woah sweet cake!
I thought you had taken the cake model from portal and put it into OG at first! :D
