Overgrowth Mod and Map Hosting

Post by Anton » Thu May 26, 2011 2:13 pm

I've setup a new website where you guys can host your mods and maps if they are larger than the 2MB limit currently available on the boards here. I'm sure that there will be a better solution in the long term, so this is a temporary solution.

You can upload your files here: http://ogmods.antonriehl.com/
and a link will be created for you at the bottom of the page.

Let me know if this works for you!

Glad to help out!
Also, `teh1 updated the site a little, so there's no longer a progress bar, but it's more secure now, and gives you a link right away.

let me know if you have any issues!

Man, I remember the first time I heard about you when you were trying to grow that beard to look like a viking, now I bet everyone knows you, you're extremely helpful with everything.

we had a little glitch, and lost the downloads folder today... I'm going to start backing files up on a more regular basis... did anyone lose anything?

Yeah, last night I was making chocolate chip cookies and I got up for something, but when I came back I couldn't find my recipe. I looked everywhere for it and was simply unable to fathom where I had put it, though I was fairly sure the surface I had set it on was that of a chair. Anyway, after about three hours of looking I remembered I had placed it under a crumpled towel on my piano bench for safe keeping. So it should all be alright.

Nice! I just tested this for the first time, and so far everything seems to work perfectly.
