[map] lone_soldier (fixed)

the story of this map is this:
u r a turner sent to this grassy plane to take out the 3 tribes and their leaders.
the tribes r: dog,rabbit,and wolf.

know the dogs r the easiest to kill but their leader is very quick and has his own custom buster sword (blade is way longer then rest of sword and longer then a turner).

next on the list r the rabbits. now they will be a bit harder and u have to climb up a mountain to reach their leader but its ur mission so do it!

and last is the wolf tribe, now this is the hardest tribe because all the wolves have enhanced states not just the leader and the leader is stronger then any of his followers, plus as a twist the wolves leader is the same color as his followers unlike the dogs or rabbits and he is mixed in with the other wolves too! so the only way to find him is to fight them all and hope he does not find u first!

plus as a bonus challenge i dare u guys to upload a video of u beating this in tire map with just the dual swords u spawn with and no other mods or resting ur health or character, or messing with the stats of characters or actors or any aspect of the map, the winner will get glory and a custom weapon only released to them made by me. the first 3 people to beat it in the next 2 week will get weapons, each of them getting a different weapon.

I think you are missing dog_soldier2_actor.xml file in this .zip file

This map is really simple to install. Just open up the .zip file and go to lone_soldier folder in there or you might need __MACOSX/lone_soldier folder to (it depends on where do you have Mac or Windows system) no you see Data folder in there. Extract it into this folder where you installed your Overgrowth.
Now start your OG and in the main menu you see there a text box. type in there lone_soldier.xml
and hit the load level button.

Or i belie you can download this map soon with SUM launcher viewtopic.php?f=13&t=14201
by choosing there Anton's main menu mod.

So this map is using an actor that I haven't got, Data/Objects/characters/dogs/dog_soldier2_actor.xml

I guess you'll have to look into that.

EDIT: Copying dog_soldier_actor.xml and renaming it to dog_soldier2_actor.xml causes Overgrowth to crash when loading this map.

Fun level, and some interesting dynamics... wasn't expecting to die so easily... but what can you do?!? Also, updating your level fixed the issues with ZramuliZ's level! Thanks for that! I'm hoping that script doesn't need to be updated every week...

Also, added in the menu mod!

thanks for adding it to the menu mod.

do u think the level is too hard?

the script does not need to be updated every week because i have had it the same for like 5 alphas now and it kept working so i do not believe it needs to be updated every week.

on the last note i have made a variant of this map were u get two mini axes to use plus the original swords, do u think is should upload it in place of this one because the axes make it a little more winnable?

I currently like the difficulty of the map. We need some maps where the combat is challenging. Plus, you can just lead all the enemies to the symbol, and let the script kill them... so it's not like it's "impossible".

Glad to hear the script shouldn't break. It has broken before though, so we'll have to see what happens.

It's up to you which version of the level you post. I personally like to post the levels I enjoy playing the most. I hope that gives you an idea...

I haven't had much time to debug your level but there is something wrong with at-least 1 of the character paths in your level file

Is this true for the version in the menu mod as well? Because it's working fine for me
