Happy Hunting
The readme is incorrect. The XML file is actually located in data/objects/characters

Since you asked so nicely.Djemps wrote:Interesting code combinations.
Why don't you post the weapon the way it is now? I'd be interested in looking at your Item, Object and Attack files to see what tweaks you made.
The thing is, I don't really have an image for what this sword should look like. So I thought I'd just let fellow model makers go crazy.Endoperez wrote:So you make new textures, but can't model yourself? Is that what you mean when you say you need someone to make a model for you? I'm sure you'll get at least one if you just post some images of whatever it is you want. At least for me, modeling is much faster than texturing.
I like the rabbit raider reskin.

That is the perfect look for the sword! Excellent taste in weaponryKorban3 wrote:I know what I will model. I will attempt to texture it as well.
My all time favorite sword.
Hey, I'm not sure why but your stuff just doesn't want to work. I think it has an issue with the normal map, sharpness map, or something else. Please look into it because I'm completely lost on how to fix it. p.s. I forget to mention the problem was that when you load the item, overgrowth just gets an error and closes.Korban3 wrote:Well, here ya go then. Load it in for your weapon and post up a video. I'd love to see it in action! And yeah, the texture has some nasty bits. The outside of the hilt and the spine of the blade are ugly because I just used the image as a texture and couldn't line them up perfectly. Better than if I made one myself though. There is also no normal map. You can just use a blank normal.
The texture may be too shiny as well. Lemme know if it needs adjusting.
