[Map] Quasar's Playground

Post by Macrauchenia » Sat Aug 18, 2012 1:04 am

Well working on my holiday levels inspired me to finish this level.

A couple of things about this map:
I wanted a level to demonstrate every ability Turner has; climbing, parkour, combat, along with how easy it is to build a level with just a few objects. I made this map in Alpha 160(?), somewhere around there. At the time, you could still throw weapons by jumping, rolling and releasing your weapon. The "terrarium" took advantage of this; there was a weapon hidden in the brush that you could toss onto the 2nd level. Since this mechanic no longer works, I removed the weapon and enemies in there, and put a closed sign on the tool shed. If David decides to implement that mechanic again, I'll update this map.

Hope you all enjoy! :)

I'm just gonna guess that this is as hard as Dark Souls on crack?

It was pretty tough on my pinky finger making it. There are "introductory" sections so to speak... practice makes perfect.
