[MAP] The Village

Post by ChrisRuck » Thu Oct 25, 2012 11:34 am

Hi Everybody,

I just thought I would put up my first level.

I pre-ordered last week and have been having a lot of fun. I am still getting used to the editor but let me know what you think.

Constructive criticism is always welcome. :)

Beware of the fiddler in the cabin. I caught him doing some nasty stuff but his trickery backfired.

Nice work! A little dark in some areas with shadows and AO calculated, but otherwise a very good first map!

Also, added to the menu mod. :)

Thanks Anton! :D

I was asking in another thread about light sources to make those areas brighter, it's a real nightmare when shadows are rendered.

Also, I wish I could explain what is happening in that video, but, it just kills me with laughter every time I watch it

Pretty cool map. I like how you used the existing terrain and rocks to create a little map within the level. The outdoor look of the map is very natural as well, nice job!
