played it, crazy how much adding enemies hits performance, something to turn enemies "off" until you get to them would be helpful, i think david is working on this.

i had to modify the file to get it to load, i think its a bug, but the color file for the un-converted terrain color texture is missing so the level file needs to be pointed directly at the converted version, in addition, because the sky box texture get renamed with the name of the level, you need to copy and paste this texture and insert your level name into the title.

(there are actually 4 seperate texture files that make up the skybox texture)

(you don't notice any of this stuff unless you reinstall the game after making your level)

corrected files: http://www.markstockton.com/misc/BT_in_LC.zip

anyway, i saw how you scaled my cherry blossoms taller, although stretched, i thourght the overall profile was improved, i think i'm gonna modify the models to make them taller without this streching.

btw why does everyone using this engine stretch everything? you know alot of game engines won't let you do this. some, like hammer (source) won't let you scale objects at all.

You don't need to do this if the menu mod is installed, because all the default skyboxes are installed as part of that mod. Since "most" people that are doing custom maps seem to have these skyboxes, it's not as important as it was when we first started making custom maps. I still have my links to the skyboxes available if people want to install maps as well, without using SUMlauncher and the menu mod.

So I finally got Markuss' new Old China objects working, but this level won't load for me.

The game crashes without an error. :(

I've found this error happens if there is an Item attachment in the level in a196. Try deleting those attachments in the xml and see if it will load then.
