Freaking cool! I hope to release another pack of Holiday-themed levels, I'll definetly incorporate him into the Halloween one.

SKELETOR looks kickass. Give him a blue robe and I shall be the happiest Timbles ever.

Re: [Character] Demon Skeleton Lord
Thanks! I want to make a more lore friendly character this time, like maybe a rat or or squirrel....

Re: [Character] Demon Skeleton Lord
A cool thing that i noticed is, when you cut his "throat" he starts bleeding out of his ribcage instead! XD
I've noticed something else too... the bleeding seems to mirror on him, like if he gets slashed on his right arm then his left arm gets magically slashed in the same exact spot. I've noticed this with my other characters too...

Re: [Character] Demon Skeleton Lord
Yeah, I was trying to make one a while ago, but I'm having trouble making a good fur texture... I don't have Photoshop and I use gimp... but this was the squirrel model I have made so far (it still needs work in some areas) I've tried the best i could to make his proportions match up to the Overgrowth ones so that when I make the texture I can make him fit in to overgrowth and blend in

Re: [Character] Demon Skeleton Lord
Squirrel might be nice, but honestly, that's an ugly image and I wouldn't want to see it based on that.

edit:
Oh, nice model! I can see that some parts need work, but it's a nice start. You can probably find fur tutorials online, maybe on deviantArt.

Re: [Character] Demon Skeleton Lord
I'll make a new topic for the squirrel once I've gotten more work done on it. Its kind of awkward to be talking about a squirrel in a topic of a totally different type of character. XD but yes
next character will probably be the squirrel, but I'm going to be working on it to improve it as much as i can before i release it.

Re: [Character] Demon Skeleton Lord
Yeah XD I've been pretty close to a rage quit... my main problem I'm having with the model now is making realistic fur for it. I found a nice plugin for blender and gimp that lets you update your gimp image in blender automatically. SOOOOO much better than manually reloading the image in blender... I was close to rage quitting because of that XD I can never make realistic fur... especially not on 3D objects... and blender's painting tools suck so I'd rather use gimp.
Back on to the demon skeleton character, there is a problem with blood mirroring on his body. But this happens with all my other characters too. I believe its because my character's UV layout is just for one side (because the texture is mirrored on the other side) But I really wouldn't want to have to make an entire new UV layout just to fix this blood mirroring problem...

Re: [Character] Demon Skeleton Lord
Yes, for Overgrowth the UVs should not overlap. Everything should be unique.
You can let Blender make most of the mirroring work for you, though.
Let's call your original model with mirrored blood, model M.
Let's call your new model with unique, non-overlapping UVs, model U.
You should have both models in Blender in same space. Choose M first, then U. Go to Render panel, scroll down to BAKE, select Texture, Selection To Active. Cross your fingers and press Bake.
