[Objects/Map] Old China (v3.1)

Post by Markuss » Fri Jul 19, 2013 10:15 pm

3.1 - fixed problem with weapon animations.

Old China meets River Fight! (works best with "post effects" enabled)

lots (and lots) of stuff has changed since the last release of this set, i've used assets from River Fight in the demo level so you'll need that set to play this, theres no gameplay but i'll release another level later, you may want to wait for that.

I seems to be missing Grass_Color.tga, Grass_Norm.tga, and Grass_Color.tga_converted.dds. I do have the river set installed.

This map is great.

The small staircases are a bit difficult to climb but the amount of detail is amazing.

Sadly I can't figure out how to make it run
Simplification - starting...
Simplification - loading model...
Segmentation fault
Am I the only one getting this? Is there a known way to fix it?

I got no idea.

did you remember to get viewtopic.php?f=16&t=17568?

and are you able to load that map?

there is a folder in "my documents" called "wolfire" which stores a load of temporary files, try deleting it to reset the game's settings.

Yes, I installed River Fight prior to Old China, both through SUMLauncher.

I flushed my ~/.local/share/Overgrowth/ directory (assuming that's the corresponding folder in linux) but I still get the segmentation fault.

Perhaps there is an issue with installing through SUM? I'll try if a manual install changes anything.
