[MAP] Dangerous Game of Catch VS 1.1

Post by SirFuzzy » Sat Feb 08, 2014 10:07 am

A very simple versus map, but a lot of fun! This map was designed with how bad the split-screen is laid out in this game, so you can use a single screen with this map (I actually encourage it for some spear collisions, hilariousness ensues).

Dependencies:
You need a friend or a REALLY well trained hamster, other than that none.

*EDIT- I tweaked the layout of the map a little bit, it functions a little better now

MAP:
Just add the .xml file as always, it's called spearToss.xml.
Don't forget you can catch thrown spears while unarmed, or block them when you are armed!
There is a tiny component of parkour to get to the higher ground, very simple stuff though. Throw a lot of spears (try to get all six to collide, it's pretty fun), fight with spears or hand to hand.

Screens:

spearToss.xml
Add to data/levels and type spearToss.xml in the main menu load bar to play.

This seems very interesting and fun. Alas, I have no friends who'd play Overgrowth with me, nor a working gamepad.

Ultimate sadface. Start training a hamster and you'll be on the right path
