I completed it without any mods to modify my jump. (Promise you)
No mods (should be) required to play this map.

When I load it up, it says something like "bright sky texture missing" and when i get in the level it has a sky that is in rectangles. Any idea why?

Can you play on the red desert map?

That's a common problem with the sky textures at the moment, I think there's something that fixes it in the SUMLauncher. Other than that, we'd have to wait till the devs fix it officially

delete the games cache and you should be fine
it worked for me and 2 others as far as i know
