I did a keyword search and found that my config files for Reciever were in:~/.config/unity3d/David/Receiver/prefs
Code: Select all
<unity_prefs version_major="1" version_minor="0">
<pref name="Screenmanager Is Fullscreen mode" type="int">0</pref>
<pref name="Screenmanager Resolution Height" type="int">768</pref>
<pref name="Screenmanager Resolution Width" type="int">1024</pref>
<pref name="gun_distance" type="float">1</pref>
<pref name="lock_gun_to_center" type="int">0</pref>
<pref name="master_volume" type="float">1</pref>
<pref name="mouse_invert" type="int">0</pref>
<pref name="mouse_sensitivity" type="float">0.105405</pref>
<pref name="music_volume" type="float">1</pref>
<pref name="sound_volume" type="float">1</pref>
<pref name="toggle_crouch" type="int">1</pref>
<pref name="voice_volume" type="float">1</pref>
</unity_prefs>
However, if i try to overwrite them to go fullscreen or change the resolution they are overwritten by the program when it launches and revert back to 1024x768 windowed. Is it not possible to change these settings in linux?

I'd love to know this too, the game is unplayable on my hardware in windowed mode.

This is happening to me also. If I chmod a-r the file, it doesn't get overwritten but the values in it are still ignored.

Same issue here with Ubuntu 13.04. The game freezes often in windowed mode, as I assume it does in any Linux desktop environment that is using a compositor. In fullscreen mode, Ubuntu Unity allows games to take access of unredirect fullscreen mode which gives really nice framerates for games. However, since we are unable to enable fullscreen, that game is unplayable.

Same thing here. I would really appreciate a Solution for choosing the fullscreen setting and resolution under Linux.

I saw on the steam forums that you can set the resolution with
Had no luck with a fullscreen mode though.

I still have this same problem... I'll use the workaround for now, but it from what I see it should be as easy as a rebuild with a newer version of unity.
