Drones are easy to dodge for me. It's just that no kill runs make my computer chug all to hell when loading a new area up. If you get a room or two between you and them they tend to give up the chase. They also seem prone to bashing into pillars and breaking themselves.

My own self concious. It's in the human nature to wonder; to fear. I am a HUUGE wimp. This games is the fear I get from amnesia: Slight paranora. I think things are around the corner; See things in the walls. You catch my drift here. :?

Well, the thing about turrets is that if you're above, below, or at an angle to them, your bullets ain't doing shit. You have to run out and get right in front of them so you have a flat surface to shoot at so your bullets wont ricochet. :P

The Drones

Especially because at close range they seem to glitch through your bullets, because your gun is actually in front of you, and not implanted in your forehead like Call of Duty (OMG I mentiond that game twice today, what is the world coming to?) Anyway, they always end up killing me, but the turrets are no problem.

1-Those damnd taser drones. Everything about them, specially the situations when on of them chagers at you, you only have enough time to aim and place one bullet. You hope that it will neutralize it for good, but no, you only disable its shocking prod. As a result, it keeps chasing you, humping madly at you like a fly. It's best to avoid that eunuch drone, because it will generaly take a lot of bullets in order to put it out of its misery since it's circlying around, making it hard to shoot that thing dead.
2-When you disable the motor on a turret on a narrow corridor that you need to go through, but the gun is pointing at your direction. Afterwards, you will have to aim quickly and neutralize the turret for good because it will return fire very fast, you won't have time to dodge or take cover.
3-Dying because of a miscalculated jump.
4-Dying like an imbecile because you sprinted blindly into a room full of turrets.
5-Shooting myself in the foot because I aimed too low. You know, when you want to stealthly kill a drone from above.

Luckily the Remington 870 shotgun added by Josh707 makes things a lot easier, but I do use the vanilla guns from time to time.

Oh my god, that is one of the most disappointing things when firing a gun, and I'm so glad that Receiver managed to transfer that feeling from real life to virtual reality.
Cause when you're pulling the trigger of a gun, it's intense. You're expecting a loud bang to set your ears ringing, you're expecting a big push from the gun, and you're expecting whatever you're aiming at to be destroyed. So there's all this tension built up in that little motion of pulling the trigger, and sometimes all you get is this little
*click!*
It's such a strange feeling.

Even worse when you're shooting that damn turret that just took you by surprise in that corner so it drops before it turns and buries 3 bullets into your body, when suddenly *click*

Then you realize that's it.

In vanilla, forgetting to chamber a round. That feel when "Click".
With the weapons additions in Josh's mod, I think my worst fear is spawning with the Thompson at all or spawning with the shotgun or rifle and then dieing immediately

Mine would have to be turning the corner with one bullet in the chamber and finding a shock drone, no matter it's present orientation. I HATE shock drones and I HATE walking around corners.

...Though walking into the bathroom and turning around to leave always makes me think there's going to be something there, too. Something that isn't a drone.
