Having handgrenades would be kinda fun in receiver (all these times you're gonna blow yourself up when messing with the keys!) : I don't know the english terms well but there could be a key to remove or put the safety pin, one to release the ... (how is it called, handle?) to cook it before it's thrown, and one to throw.

That would be like QWOP with explosives (= lots of fun)

Bonus point if you have one key to do the throwing movement and one key to release the pressure from the fingers, allowing you to do different throws everytime (and possibly huge amounts of derps)

Also bonus point if you find it disassembled and have to put the detonator in the casing and all that stuff.

Yes, let's just take QWOP and surgeon simulator and guns and killdrones and mash them all together now.

I think just having the grenade mechanics just as Karel described separately would be a ridiculously fun game in its own right.
It wouldn't *need* Receiver.
Though the combination would also certainly be.... mmmmtasty.

Could be interesting. Makes me wonder of the ways it's mechanics would translate to a mouse + keyboard.

Left MB - Hold a tight grip on the grenade AND control arm swing instead of camera (also drops the grenade on release if the pin is pulled)
R - Pull pin.
Z - Reinsert pin
Push the mouse forward - Represents raising your arm (maybe over your back)
Pull the mouse back - Represents throwing your arm down

The swing sounds pretty damn hard to master. Many a noob would have some fun with the unpredicatble physics. At least when done this way over-arm AND under-arm throws are possible. Probably chucking over your back as you sprint away from that drone too. :mrgreen:

Cool Receivers don’t look at explosions
