Disabling anti-aliasing?

I recently bought this game on Steam, but I'm having trouble getting a good framerate. I know my toaster isn't very good, but I can usually manage at least 40-50fps if I run things at the teensiest resolution possible. Unfortunately, I'm still having problems here, and I'm certain it's because of the forced AA. I've tried using the nVidia control panel to force it off, but it stays on. Is there anything else I can try?

I want to disable AA as well. I am running this on a MAC. I have a 1280 monitor but I have to use the lowest graphics and the lowest resolution. It still lags. Not to beat a dead horse, but this game can use some serious optimization.
