game crashes after about 1 hour of gameplay

this is what showed up in the log:
(i took out a pile of repeated "the reference script on this behaviour is missing" lines):

I'd suggest a fresh reinstall along with updating all appropriate drivers firstly...assuming this isn't already something you've done. Otherwise...someone more knowledgeable with the game probably will need to lend ya a hand as I just play it lol.

the amusing thing is that i had just downloaded it today from steam AND did a local file verification check, nothing popped up, so could it be that the devs may have missed something when uploading to steam or is it the game not playing nice with my computer, because despite of it crashing on the occasion it runs quite smoothly.

it's likely on your end....i play the game flawlessly all the time save for the framerate chugging in certain areas.
