Lighting won't show up and flashlight won't work

I have receiver on steam, but when I started it up the game was unusually dark, I realized that the flashlight never turned on either. No light sources in the game ever seem to emit light, what is going on? Any information on fixes?

Maybe it is an issue with lighting, as far as the flashlight goes anyway. But the lamps and such never seem to emit much light. Some parts are pretty much pitch black.

I have the same problem. Does anyone have a fix or at least a workaround?

What settings are you guys running on? If you're using fastest, you'll definitely want to try the other settings.

What about your OS? etc
