I really hope this Mod stays around, at least untill it's Mac-compatable again. I was able to use it to make a simple checkers game and I've been playing that for a while, but I'm looking to try and make somthing better, so I have a few questions:

First off: how might I find a way to spawn two sets of large coins, but with diffrent textures? Right now it's small vs. large, I want to make it propper black vs. red.

Secondly: how can I get chess pieces?

I really have no actual modding experience at all, aaaand I'm running on a Mac, so it's a challenge to get stuff to work. I was really sad when I got the latest version and it wouldn't start...

if someone needs help with a mod
i like to help i can make models and do a bit of textureing i know how unity works but cant code
i need to make more portfolio work :)

I just wanted to say, I am very excited for this mod. Keep it up, vonkie. I love it.

I would pay good money for a decent version of Monopoly on this engine, and even more for a decent version of Mouse Trap. xD There just are no good online monopoly games out there and, though the version posted on this thread is good, it's not perfect. Playable, yes, but not perfect.

Absolutely the same problem. Tried everything, but it works only up to version 10.

I fell in love with the game right away when I found out that it can be changed and modified. Hopefully, the Vonkie can figure out what the problem is.

Hey everybody,
first of all I really like the mod and I appreciate the hard work you guys put into this project. I want to help but unfortunately I can't code nor design. The only thing I could offer is to translate all the ingame texts, cards etc. and the manual, if you plan to add multiple languages (although the only one I could offer is german). If so, just message me and I'll get it done.

I'm really looking forward to see what this project will become.

Am I the only one who is unable to run Vonkie's Mod in Multiplayer except for one-on-one per Direct IP ?

I do get the list of servers on the official server, but I can not join (wrong password) nor are my opened games shown in the list. The list for vonkie's server is empty and also my opened games are not shown. Direct IP works great but does not allow for more than 2 players.

Is there any way to fix that ? Is Vonkie's mod still developed ? Haven't heard a thing since roughly half a month.

Okay, so me and a few others are creating a mod with the guidelines of Vonkie's. However, for some reason it has reached a point where except for myself, the game just crashes when they load the cards.

We've made 100+ cards with 100+ images in the content folder.

Perhaps its a content problem? The amount of cards is too much for their PCs to handle? Mine works fine, but that might just be I have a stronger PC.

Or it's another problem? But I'm not sure if content should be an issue.

my mod brought the size to 228 cards. bit slow on load but works.
Any mistake in text file can cause problems.

No, it's simply a flat capacity problem.

No matter what card would be added, it would cause a crash. The max would be 1xx. Before that number it works just about. Beyond that it crashes. We tested using various cards -- it's just a set number.

Is it not possible to look through the code and check for possible bottlenecks?

Someone pointed out that the borders on the cards do not match up to the corresponding sections on the board this can be fixed by simply renaming the card image files if you already downloaded the mod. I will be updating the dropbox file shortly.

Hello... Vonkie, how do you think about a language support? At the moment i'm translating the game in german. Well other people could do other languages. And I think it would be good for everybody. ;)
