Sound settings (Please add them)

Post by Ogre Samanosuke » Thu Nov 29, 2012 3:26 am

Can we get any sort of sound settings so we don't have to resort to using the Sound Mixer to lower the volume? In particular the music, it's nice at first, but being on a single track infinite loop, it gets really grating. I don't want to lose the sound effects, so I know stuff like shuffling is working fine, so I hate using the Mixer, but goddam the music is far too low by default and I want to be able to shut it up. =|

If you press 1 it silences the music but it synchronizes with everyone so nobody will hear the music anymore.

Well... Shameless self promotion:
[Mod] Vonkie's mod [26/11/12 - 011]
In my mod, has a setting "music" since the latest update.
It disables all the background music, but leaves the sound on, unless you disable that as well, if you want.

Well, that's better than nothing. Would still like an actual options menu setting, but this'll do for now.

I think there needs to be a proper audio options menu as well, it's extremely annoying trying to get Skype to work with DG.
