Wow, this thread is so old I got an email notification, way back from when I subscribed to threads
Either way, yeah, do people purposefully go through ancient pages and bump on purpose or what?

Just so I know, who necroed?
It's glitched so all the dates tell me "1" despite the fact that I know that we did not join or post on "1".

You're an idiot. It's well known that OG will have multi-player, and did you just look for a topic to necro?

Sory guys, i thought i knew about a client download so you could add the game then go ingame use /map in console or start a map, then the other person could use /connect ip... But nope didnt find it.. But i found a bunch of "allmost finished" MP files... but you need to know c++, but i dont..

Guys, for pete's sake, this thread is from 2004.
Lugaru is done, David has no plans to ever touch its code again, and if you must talk about Overgrowth multiplayer do so in a new thread. Let dead posts be dead posts.

Hehe it needs a hide and seek game mode then, i mean overgrown territorry is allways easy to hide in right. But maybe twisted with a bit of blood and such.
When i was a kid i used to play this special hide and seek game we made up where we used latex weapons, it was quite fun actually so here it is:
One person has to find the others ( like in regular tag/hide and seek ) while the others hide. When he finds them he can kill them by hitting them once with his weapon. Now this is where the fun comes into the picture; the others/the ones that are hiding can't just hide and wait for the game to end, instead their objective is to kill the guy trying to find them. Now the only way for the hidden ones to kill the finding one is with a direct blow on the finding guy on the back.
It was an awesome game and we even found a suiting name for it: ninja-hide and seek. Oh yeah it was fun

I wasn't going to access this thread, but having read the emphatic command to do so and read "THIS", I felt compelled to do so. Having then read the embarrassingly haphazard poll choices, I feel mildly regretful of my decision. It did allow me to write this snarky post, though.
Multiplayer would be a great plus, but I'm not too concerned with its inclusion. I'd be happy with multiplayer of any sort, I'm not picky.
