Yes, ideally. Pointless forum posts derail threads and waste everybody's time.

Back on track momentarily before the thread drops back into the randomness chaos that is the Wolfire Boards here is my take on mounts.

Obsolete. Since most of the animals in Lugaru are more human like then their real world counter-parts they are pretty clearly still animal. What I'm getting at here is the animal run, when Turner drops to all fours and starts running around like the rabbit he is. (also, I believe wolves use it in Insane mode) Personaly, I think it cooler in say a large scale battle instead of rabbits riding in on horses, the front line drops to it's fours and charges at the enemy.

Just my two cents, and I'm sure David will figure out what to do on his own.

I agree, that's probably the best kind of "Mount".

What about ostridges? It's clear that birds aren't humanoid in lugaru, ostridges can't fly, and it would bring back memories of the arcade game "joust".

1. the word's ostrich
2. imo, NO MOUNTS, it just looks stupid if a rabbit rides a giant hawk that could damn well have eaten him if it wanted to

Personaly i like the Tamed wolf idea.

i think it would be cool to tame it yourself in a level and then use it against the other opponents, i'm not sure how you would tame it though. mabye just jump around until it gets tired and then jump on its back and start trying to make it attack the others.

what do all you guys think?

The wolves are are too smart, they know karate. If Turner got a wolf really dizzy to the point where he could jump on his back, the wolf would just stop and throw him off, he wouldn't commit to being his personal bitch. That's weird.

Well the easiest way to get a wolf to think you're its mother is to dress up like a frog and wave strange hallucinagenic drugs under its nose while dancing about. Then whiles its all confused, you club it upside the head with a sledge hammer, giving it horrible brain damage in the process. When it wakes up it can't think straight.

Tame wolves?
No, no, no.
The wolves in Lugaru are as antropomorphic as the rabbits.
