other wise Nerf it...
That would be unnecessary - with the third-person camera you could see an enemy sneaking up behind you unless there was something in the way.

if you are to use a sledge hammer on some ones skull in l2, Will there be Blood spatter or the more appropriate chunky Grey matter? and if you can rip some ones guts out, will you see the appropriate Intestines and other gore? or will it be the same as l1 were there is a red spot on the models were some one Stabbed them?
Image Thats his guts spilling out on the floor, (sorry, poor screen shot and poor editing) aalso if this was done in lugaru 2 it would look much better

An idea would to be to add simple flintlock firearms. However limited to one or two shots with extremely slow reloading time and if there is a sound recognition amoung enemies to point out where the shot came from, it would also give the players location away. Well anyway, Lugaru was awesome. Just giving my two cents.

If David's going to put Matchlocks in Lugaru it will have to be either really rare or really expensive... Or both, because even the first Matchlocks could blow a hole through three time the thickness of a breast plate in a full-plate armor suit.

Thats for sure. Especially the Blunderbuss style of Matchlocks. Those puppies were the forerunner to modern-day shotguns, but instead of todays use of shotguns, a Blunderbuss could have been loaded with a varied amount of powder. It could have been a small amount of powder or a crapload.

and according to what I heard, people use to load a Blunderbuss with Gravel. So there is Limitless Ammo.

there's a difference between matchlocks and flintlocks. Which did you mean?

P.S. matchlocks came first and are not as convenient, you have to light the cord...

I meant Matchlocks. Since they came first it would make more sense for them to be in the game if they are going to be at all.

if they have matchlocks then they would have basic explosives right? And explosives and soft body physics together would mean. . .
