Slightly different in France I guess. No application degrees here, but a lot laws that get passed don't get enforced at all. Like in Washington state there's a law that requires you to have a litter bag in your car at all times. Guess how many tickets were received for not having one. I suppose that sort of thing could be called blurriness though. I just look at that as political-governmental bullshit. It's ridiculous the kind of crap that comes out of governments these days.

I agree. I can only speak about what I know of, and french parliament and government look to the average citizen as thingies waving their arms shouting "Put some cameras down there, I'm doing stuff, LOOK!" Apparently usefulness is rather irrelevant to them.
