I was recently playing on the Impressive Mountains map, just climbing and stuff, and when I got to the top to survey the landscape, I noticed my rabbits idle stance still had his fists up ready to fight. Fair enough, if there were enemies near, but I was the only one on the map and I would have preferred him to be in a more relaxed stance, less combat-y. Like with his arms by his sides or something.
It's just a small suggestion, and it doesn't really change the gameplay at all, but couldn't there be two idle stances? As in, one for combat, one for when there's no enemies? I doubt it'd be hard to implement, but it'd just be a small touch that I think would be pretty nice. Thoughts?
Small suggestion...
Re: Small suggestion...
Mod it in. This bugged me too, but there is code already in place to detect what the combat situation is, so linking it up to the animations shouldn't be too hard. But I think that the idle animation is currently defined outside of the code that detects the combat, so I don't know how to work with that part of it.
Re: Small suggestion...
Yeah, I gathered that it could detect whether there were enemies or not by the background music; it's all ominous when there's any enemies. As for modding it in, I really have no experience in that and I'm paranoid I'd mess something up XD
I'll just ignore it for now, if something gets done officially in future then great, but it's not exactly a game breaking thing :3

Yeah, that's how a lot of things go with the Alphas.
