i will get my Ridiculous Question out of the way before i say what i have to say. Who thinks there should be Sumo wrestling in Lugaru?

i think if we tryed something like starting of with Simple moves in the start and learn better ways of the attack as time goes on from things like Quests and Training.

Eg; Turner at start knows Belly flop (since i cant think of any attacks) and as time goes on he mets a Trainer in town, and for 5 wolf teeth he will teach you how to do a Body slam. as you adventure you hear of a Monastery of Monks and travel there and learn how to Channel the elements of the earth and do a Thunder stomp, rendering Body slam useless. ETC. how ever these new attacks take up more energy and there for you must switch to you're Lighter attacks by pressing Tab and you cycle though you're attack type. in other words you will still need you're older attacks but if the time comes you can use a Catastrophic attack on everyone.

I think fighting styles would be cool, but that's been mentioned before I think.

I thought sumo wresling was slapping the enmy around untill they get disoriented and then pushing them out of the ring somehow? I may be wrong (I probably AM wrong)

But anyways, yeah, different fighting styles would be cool. Kung-Fu Turner could fight a bunch of guys trying to use streetfighting or backyard wrestling or something.

Or the "pick up and wack you with something until it breaks" fighting style. :P

I meant, say you're running, the normal button (left-mouse) does a different move depending on which move you have selected in your moves menu or whatever. See what I mean? Same buttons, different moves picked each time. You can customise your moves to how you like.

It was just a thought.

I don't get it. You run at the guy and instead of doing a round house kick, you would do a... punch?

Or is it like God Hand, that lets you swap out moves for different ones, that works but the moves are like A + <- + punch button = whatever the hell move you set it as (kinda like those old wrestling games where you create your character). So it really doesn't matter what you use because they aren't context sensitive.

No, I think it's more like, going to a screen, and choosing what moves you could do in each situation. Or, learning new ones that occasionally replace or always replace the old ones.

then you would have yourself doing moves when you don't want to do them and vice versa.

No, there'd be a list of moves for every... move. Like:

Heavy kicks:
Leg cannon
Roundhouse
Ect

I dunno, I think set moves are fine. The control scheme was intuitive for Lugaru, so that's one thing I hope doesn't stray too far.

Yeah. But that would work, just needs some polish-- anyhow, they probably know it already, anyway.

Zantalos, it's as Albab was saying, I didn't mean new button combinations I meant...say you're standing still, and you click the left-mouse button. With me so far? Usually, the left-mouse button while not pressing anything else will give you just a forehand punch, but with the move set you could drop that forehand punch in favour of, say, a backhand smash or elbow smash? See what I meant?
