I think (as in "not sure") he's talking about the forum at idev games.Sectaurs wrote:udel_ic wrote:
That forum is not so secret. Some people in here have waaay more posts than I can find of them with the forum search. That implies there are some secret posts I don't have access to.
I have no idea what you're talking about...

I think they're reffering to the pages upon pages of users with 0 or 1 posts... the ones with 1 posts sometimes post an advertisement... like the account was created by a bot... A sticky post could be posted stating that all useser with under 2 or 3 posts have to reregister or something... I dunno.
Besides, it would take centuries to delete all these bull accounts.

I don't think there is a problem with deleting the bot accounts if someone wants to waste their time deleting every single one, but I don't think there's any particular need for it either. Are they causing any harm? I mean, it's not like there's any time that I'm going to see "We have 1473 registered users." and go "AAAAAH, WHAT THE HELL!? 73.48% OF THOSE ARE BOTS, MUST DESTROY".
But "Bestporngirl221" is MY account name on the Concerned forums! !hdlsa wrote:I'm sure the only accounts that would be deleted are spam accounts with obvious spam names like "FrEeViAgRa" and "Bestporngirl221."
No, it's some HL2 web comic that apparently has it's own forum to go with it. Though it was obvious to me since I spent like 3 hours trying to read them from beginning to end, I was surprised I actually did reach it, what with all them notes and nice pictures (though I haven't caught up on them since).
But yeah, the only problem I have with the bots is for locating members. You have to go from page to page just to find someone since there's no skipping or anything like that. But oh well, It can't be fixed since you would have to have Jeff or David do all that. although, I'm sure tons of people would volunteer since they'd get a chance to see the developer forums. (which would be a threat to national security....)

You can just sort by the people who have the most posts, and that will give you the actual people, but not the bots.Zantalos wrote:No, it's some HL2 web comic that apparently has it's own forum to go with it. And what did you think of Concerned?
