CS40 Assignment 1: Image Manipulations & Fractals

Post by James M » Tue Sep 12, 2006 7:26 am

Well gee, interesting read, but it doesn't look like anything to do with wolfire software!

You may want to take a look at the main page and see for yourself...

I can see how this happened. He likely wanted to host that page for any reason, and didn't realize that he overwrote the old index page.

What I gather from the conversation (from James M to David) is that David was hosting his CS 40 assignment and accidentally replaced the wolfire.com index page with his assignment, so anybody who went to wolfire.com got to see David's homework.

An honest (and as David so eloquently wrote "pretty stupid") mistake that doesn’t need to be brought back to attention since the error has been corrected.

It ended before I even knew it was happening.

I made a fractal program way back in the when.... (did I just invent a new phrase?)

I found the hardest part was programming the equation stack, but that might just be me ;)
