Haha, sounds about right.
Sucks that you live so close, but won't be able to go. I would bring it up to them. The worst that could happen is that they say no and maybe think you're an idiot. And I think that's somewhat standard for parenting

No dude...there is just no way. I mean you have a chance at 17; in more magically inclined places you could be practicing magic in the muggle world right now. My mom gets nervous when I walk down the street near my house alone.

But... you're 15. You're going to move out in 3 years. You should really try to convince her to loosen up. Try to tell her that you'll be with a Marine [to-be-in-4-months]. I mean, I'm almost bad ass enough to provide security and reassurance right? If it doesn't work, then just show her John's beard and let her know that that's who you'll be hanging out at. Hell, go find the episode of OGW where Anton was at Humble Bundle Inc and show her Jeff, Anton and the office.
Seriously, do it. It'd be fun to meet as many of the forumites as possible.

Hold on, lemme dig for it...

Surprisingly easier to find than I thought it would be

1:30 into the video, 3 am, must sleep.
Favorite quote so far is Silverfish: "We shot rockets. And they went boom."
Although Anton's "Took a little trip." is a close second.

So that's what Jeff looks like. I thought he would look different, somehow. I was also surprised at what Silverfish looked like, when he first showed the Skype call.

Yeah, and I like how when John popped into the stream, he had that really serious face on like "Why are you looking at pr0n, Anton?" and then he was all "Ohai guys." Funnez.

Now if only David would show his face... he's like Muhammad. Only different. But not much.

At what time does Jeff pop in? I thought I watched that video but didn't catch it. then again I do sometimes watch them on the side while doing other stuff.

=Edit= Ahhh, tricky, he was after the end  around 51:40

We'd be worried if he wasn't tricky. He is the evil one after all.

Perhaps "David" and "Jeff" are just split personalities of a single, awesome person.

But then their stories of the time that jeff was having lunch with some people and didn't recognize david when he walked by wouldn't make sense.

Yeah and read the book (which was superior, just saying) but you'll notice that he (the narrator) was the only one who was aware of the existence of Tyler as being separate from himself, everyone else just knew him as Tyler.
