Auto Updater not working?

I was just wondering why the auto updater isn't working; I have version a114 and I am trying to update it to a169. I am using a MacOS and I have downloaded the updater for MacOS; the updater opesn fine and downloads the update, but then at the end it prompts "Install and Exit" and that is the only button available. So, I press that, and it says "installing" for a second, and then it disappears, and the installer closes. I then go to open up Overgrowth, but it's still at a114. Any ideas?

Are you sure you have given it a working preorderer key? I noticed that you don't have the preorderer tag, and that could be the reason.

I think he may have found an old auto updater that was made by Jeff. But it's not working for long time i believe.

Right, but to even consider wanting to use that auto updater he must have pirated the game (or have purchased it with a different wolfire forum account, but that's somewhat unlikely)
