Someone here in for a little trade?

Post by RedWing » Mon Apr 23, 2012 7:26 pm

I wish to trade all my tf2 items and 2 games (Activated on steam by keys) [ Greed: BlackBorder & Trapped Dead] And Nexuiz Closed Beta Key (Only works for one week I wont lie) For Overgrowth...
The things I am offering are $1 or $2 dollars more worth then Overgrowth right now :P
But that wont really change anything :)

This is my way of paying for this game as I do not own my own credit card to buy this game and my parents cant spare the money for it...
If this is against the forum rules by any means please let me know and delete this post!

Thank you for your time :)

I'm not sure there are any rules against it, but I'm unsure what you mean. Like, you give David Rosen two games for Overgrowth? You'd honestly have to talk to him about it. Try the IRC channel, he's on there sometimes. Ninjas or Jeff are also on there often. Who knows, maybe they'll work something out with you ;)

like give someone else two games and they gift overgrowth to him is more what it seemed like, I can't see David really needing two games. though if we went by needs there'd be none of us here.

I'm loving the fact that we're getting more and more of these posts from creditcard-less people asking to acquire OG in an alternative yet legal manner.

This one's the most reasonable so far.
Can't say I've any interest for the offer though, poor kid.

Yeah I feel like a total douche asking for the game by trading some stuff and not buying it myself :(

No, it's actually a little bit cool. We're all really grateful you didn't go pirate the game and this is totally legal, which is awesome.
The thing is that you'll need to get someone who wishes to trade. I don't have the money on my debit card, otherwise I'd probably consider it. Just wait a bit and someone might take you up.

*strokes a picture of Jack's avatar from back when he still had a beard*

See, this is another case where the OG-Charityfund I was talking about would come in handy.
The sheer attempt at open honesty of this guy makes me feel he deserves it.
Whether that honesty is genuine or not...

Resizing all yo text to a readable font, bitch.

I don't know, I think he's genuine. I'm going with my spidey sense here.
Also, when did my avatar have a beard?

I'm pretty sure it did at some point.
If not, then I'm thinking of the bearded pic someone graciously made for you, which you then quite ignored D:
