i pre ordered and im new to this forum so where can i download the alpha?

Well you should've put in your forum information into the form thing that got mailed to you so you could link your preorder to your account and then download it from the secret preorder forum. that's kind of general advice but I'm sure you'll get it or someone much more up to date than me will help you.

You forum account doesn't seem to know you preordered. Since the download is in the preorders-only section of the forum, that's going to be a problem.

It's a common problem, and I'm sure Wolfire guys can help you out. Just contact the support at, erm, I think it's this address:

If you send them your order number and the name of your forum account, that should do it.
