My friend has overgrowth on w7 and it was working for him for a LONG TIME, and now everytime he loads a map except the one with the red pillars all over the place, it crashes, and even that one crashes when he spawns a char to fight T_T, whats going on?

Did your friend preorder the game? If so, have him post his problem in the appropriate forum. You know, the Pre Order Forum?

If he pirated it... well I'm sad to hear his cracked copy was working for so long. Nobody here is going to help with getting a stolen version working again.

I think several people had this problem this week, although I don't remember if I had it myself. I'm not sure if any workarounds were found, but as was said, if there are solutions, they are in the preorders forum.

well i cant check cuz i don't have the game, but does anyone actually know the problem? i like playing it with him T_T

I believe it has been addressed by the community already, at least, if not officially yet.

i just bought overgrowth and when i run it it just immediatly crashes, i run every game in highest quallity with no problems so it can't be issue with my computer
if anyone knows how to fix this please reply

We can't give you any support about the game outside of Secret Preorder Forum.
What we can do is point you at right place where you can get your access to the secret preorder forum.
And after that you can ask support from there, or you can dig in the search your own.

Which one? There are several different crash bugs in OG. Some are Ubuntu (or Linux) specific, others crash the game when you try to start it, yet others crash the game when you try to do specific things, some crash the game seemingly randomly when you aren't doing anything specific.

Please go here, see if you find anything like your problem (you can use the Search feature), and then you can ask for advice in the proper thread. Or you can make a new thread, but in that case you should describe your problem in more detail.

There is no answer to this in the SPF I can assure you of this. I don't recommend purchasing this game until it's out of both alpha and beta due to the fact that it constantly crashes.
