[HELP] Hidden "kill screen" buttons

I have this problem where the killscreen buttons are clickable from in-game even though the killscreen is not showing, so whenever I'm running around in the game and left-click I might click the "main menu" or "retry" button, which is very annoying.

Only changed resolution and set the game to fullscreen from the default settings, rest is default. I'm not sure what may be the problem, except that the killscreen buttons are invisible and still clickable even when it's not present.
