Overgrowth : Series of problems

Postby Benarlequin » Sat Aug 04, 2012 12:42 pm

Hi everyone !

I just bought Overgrowth yesterday and after installation and all the stuff, when i launch the game i get a series of errors :

1) Write Directory paths contains unicode characters, which Overgrowth might not handle correctly yet ===> click ok

2) (game launch) Problem moving file

C:/Users/***/Documents/Wolfire/Overgrowth/Data/Temp/conversion0.dds

to
C:/Users/***/Documents/Wolfire/Overgrowth/Data/Textures/Cursors/cursor_nocompress.png_converted.dds ===> click Ok

3) (game isn't at start menu yet) Could we please add this computer's hardware information to our database for compatibility testing ? ===> Click Yes

Now i'm on the menu and when i launch a map (1rst one for example)

4) Problem moving file

C:/Users/***/Documents/Wolfire/Overgrowth/Data/Temp/conversion0.dds

to
C:/Users/***/Documents/Wolfire/Overgrowth/Data/Textures//Terrain/red_hills/red_hills_c.tga_converted.dds ===> click Ok

Then it starts loading the map and crashes ... Everytime.

So my question is : what's the solution(s) ?

Thanks in advance !

Dude, please don't dump all of this game-specific info on the public Wolfire forum. There is a Secret Preorder Forum where this post belongs. If you go there, you might already find a thread related to your problem. If not, well then feel free to list all of your error details in a new SPF thread. This way it is less likely for Pirates to get a glimpse into how to crack the engine.

Can someone move this?

That would be nice, i know i had to post on SPF, but i lost my first password for unlock it. I already sent an email to change that, but not received yet.
