EDIT - I haven't played any of those games so I will just follow the crowd.

EDIT EDIT - I think een's League of Legends suggestion isn't too bad... I imagine a 5v5 custom being a huge amount of fun. We wouldn't need to worry about the community because they wouldn't be involved!

Saying that though, Sub Rosa looks like a lot of fun.

I have two other game suggestions: Warsow, free with an account on GoG, and Ace of Spades, free.

Actually TF2 would be a good option too, come to think of it.

Free, versatile, and essentially comical.
What's not to love?
