In other words, you have dial up?

My average ping on Sauerbraten with broadband is about 400 or 300 milliseconds.

By the way, I got the best title I could possibly get, IMO.

Question!

I like the new draw distance for lugaru 2, but how far is it? It's kind of hard to tell without some kind of reference like a tree or something, but is it anything like Oblivion?

Or is Lugaru's draw distance alot longer than it looks. Because, It looks like Oblivion has a much longer view distance, but that doesn't make sense because it's so much more detailed.

Draw distance is just a variable. Better hardware can draw more stuff. Is the phoenix engine faster than Oblivion's? It's too early too tell, since there are no villages or anything to test yet.

Personally, in those screenshots it looks like the Phoenix engine has a longer view distance.

Also, apparently being in a congested area of the grand $%#@ing copper wire network gives you very slow broadband.

I'm not anymore, seeing as I just "upgraded a littlebit". *smug*

That question, along with ETA, has been asked so many times X_x

We need Tech Demo! Come to think of it, I think Tech Demo should involve a lawnmower shield and a chainsaw and heaps of zombis!

See how many Guys a computer can support wile playing, and you get to see soft body physics and LOD. it may also involve dropping the lawnmower, starting the lawnmower and filling the petrol tanks of the lawnmower (Superior manipulation and interaction with items i keep hearing about!) and equipping duel chain-saws or cleavers (inventory and more manipulation!)

I think you should do a Tech-Demo! one for MAC too!

Yo, I'm in europe as well. So ... we can battle each other! I'll punish you mwahahacoughcoughargh.
I hope we will be able to run our own servers so we don't have to push the traffic all over the big ocean for battling over here.
