update in the news section of the actual website. Before I discovered the forums I was completely dependent on that, which hasn't been updated for awhile.

P.S. Im the first person to have the most recent post in all 4 forums!

returning to the original subject of the post:

an update to the news section would take very little effort, and would make a big difference:
1) David's games are unique. When some of the info on the website is no longer true (like having won all UDev contests), it suggests that the unique qualities in his games may also not be unique anymore. So keeping "news" up to date would prevent discreditation of some really cool attributes of Wolfire games.
2) David's waiting fans will be less likely to give up on Lugaru coming out if his website seems more alive (outside of forums).

Maybe Jeff could keep "news" updated, since David's busy... <grin>

Indeed, the News page is often the first place people look, and if it hasn't been updated they assume the game hasn't been updated.

David or jeff should write a quick message like

Lugaru is near completion an i have been working on it lately so a havent been able to write many updates

or something like that just to tell peopoe your still alive
