Nice artwork. What kind of animal is that? Is it a lion or a cat?

Pretty good! The silhouette of the head is perhaps slightly too perfect of a triangle, maybe you could consider making the farther side slightly smaller (perspective). Speaking of that, the hand and axe handle are very slightly misaligned.

Please don't take these as harsh complaints, I think the character, his mood and his situation can all be read from this.

This is Acra, the "Moonclad" warrior of the Moonclad legend story :)

I drew this imagining her completely embracing her destiny, and becoming one hell of a badass; because who doesn't love hot cat women with crazy headdresses?

Most people I would imagine. XD

I like em a lot. I especially like the kick-ass ness of the second one. You could post these to the Fan Art thread! They are really good. You should add fur, then shade them to give it a more organic feel!
