Re: OGW Q&A with the developers
What do you mean what happened to them, Furrnox? Aubrey isn't working on Overgrowth since a while back and David is still programming on the game.
Re: OGW Q&A with the developers
Congratulations on releasing a new alpha, take your time.
Re: OGW Q&A with the developers
Why do you feel the need to release an alpha on schedule every two weeks? Why not take your time to make something fancy, and release something when you feel it is ready?
Will you guys make online multiplayer?

Because that's how they used to do it and people went apeshit, calling the team lazy, incompetent, the game a scam and a whole bunch of other nice things.wake wrote:Why do you feel the need to release an alpha on schedule every two weeks? Re: OGW Q&A with the developers
To me half the reason for it was because of decision making, deciding if they should switch engines or not, and hiring more people. That took a while.EPR89 wrote:Because that's how they used to do it and people went apeshit, calling the team lazy, incompetent, the game a scam and a whole bunch of other nice things.wake wrote:Why do you feel the need to release an alpha on schedule every two weeks? But progress really suffered... I cannot even remember when I preordered/backed this game. Must have been ages ago

Re: Overgrowth Weekly
I would be really interested to see a blog post about Game Engine development from David - for instance for the engine he talked about in ogw 104.
