okay its like this:
when David makes a program [in this case, the Black Shades game], he does it in his programming language [i believe C++]. the stuff he types = source code. so, if you guys get the source code, you can go change around the stuff in the program [game].

This post is to establish the longest possible PGI (Post Gap Interval) on the Wolfire forums: 3 years, 130 days, 17 hours, 37 minutes FTW!

Since this was the oldest post on the forum that had not been replied to, my post establishes the current record PGI; it will be impossible to beat this record before July 2, 20007 @ 3:31 PM.

In order to ensure my continued reign as undisputed PGI King of the Wolfire Forums, I vow to snipe every possible opportunity to undermine my supremacy. In fact, I may just reply to every post on the forum as insurance.

It will be a better use of my time than reading the bullshit that's passing for posts around here lately.

That's not the longest possible. The longest possible is always growing. Longest _currently_ possible isn't even accurate.

Ah, I almost forgot about this classic discussion of source code. :)

OK, first time was funny; second may have been appropriate, but now....

It was a tough choice to decide who to play this on: there are so many deserving ones on this forum lately.

Maybe you aren't the most appropriate, but you are convenient, and sometimes convenience is more seductive than truth and beauty.

Not really. My creature card is immune to virtually anything to which he wishes to be immune, including that card and all forms of damage. Besides, I doubt you can tap enough to use that ridiculously expensive thing.

"...simple as that", by the way.

Anyway,

Aside from the slight problem with the date there, your edit in response to my post is still incorrect. A mod can easily delete your post far before then, thus causing NickD's own to beat the record; my point stands.

Ah. A short post about the length of time between posts means I have no life. Usagi taking the time to find the perfect place to set his little record, on the other hand, is not a "trivial and idiotic thing" despite the fact that it's the very subject on which I commented.

Plus, your taking the time to put those ellipses between each word you typed means it likely took you much more time to make your post than for me to make either of mine. I'm not exactly envious of how you spend _your_ free time, myself.
