I suppose so. That whaleman does look weird though. I'm just really used to the normal whaleman. Cool though.

@Lucius
No doubt you are a good artist, but I pretty much agree with what SF said in the Stream today: nice, but doesn't really fit. The paintovers were passably fitting, but there weren't really any improvements. I like that Aubrey's animals don't look like hell-bent mutants, they're just normal animals. Albeit anthropomorphized ones with weapons and clothes. The dog you did from scratch was good, but it just doesn't really fit with OG's style. It had more of a fantasy look to it. For the most part, OG's weapons and armor are historically accurate.

Yup, and they aren't slightly oversized which was an issue in the release of Mount and Blade. Some of the weapons were like 20% too big in that game. Like the Shortened Military Scythe. I call that weapon my "Horse Cleaver". They made that thing so freakin' huge. I was all "FINAL FANTASY NAUW FOO!" And I hate those games.

Yeah I'm not big into the whole giant stylized fantasy weapons thing. I like Greek history and mythology, Roman history, and European history to a lesser extent. As a result, I like weapons to be nitty, gritty, and historically accurate.

I like nitty, gritty melee techniques like these:

Some of them are just escapes or single strikes, but I really dig the Infector and Puker counters. Just plain bad ass. I'm trying to think of games with melee that bad ass. Most FPS have a stupid melee attack. I just wanna be able to slam opponents' head's into walls, beat them with bricks, and generally perform intense beat downs. I. Like. Beat downs.

Not bad at all!

I'm sure you noticed that the head is a tad small and the hammer doesn't become smaller as it goes farther away, but those are just minor quibbles. Did you have something specific in mind for those colourful sashes/belts? They're so colourful, it reminds me of something African or perhaps South-American.
