Fan Art
Re: Fan Art
@Korban Yes... alive... I'm totally not undead. :>
@Last & Anton, yes, I'm afraid I might over do it, I made the body leaning forward for that, it might end up looking like it's actually moving if I apply it over the body. (The scene is basically a rabbit punching really fast, alla DBZ, while standing still, so I don't want much movement on the body).
@Saedz Oh, yes I see the lion, sorry for the confusion! Somehow I thought Grey Wardens had lions and not griffons. xc

You can try and draw all of the different species fighting against each other.ShinyGem wrote:I need more ideas of what to draw!

Oh, wow, that's hard... but I'll give it a shot!akazi wrote:You can try and draw all of the different species fighting against each other.
Edit: Ok, shot given! I don't think I'm skilled enough to make five-way fights... But, this one turned out ok, although I dished out some quick, basic, colouring.
As most of the time, a coloured and a non coloured version.
Cats 'n' Dogs
Oh, I also noticed I used to make shadows underneath the characters, do you guys think I should start doing them again or is it completely unnecessary? (Specially since the latest don't even have feet, you guys know I can't draw dem damn legs. =p)
Re: Fan Art
Lookin' sweet.
I would definitely urge to put the feet in. The shadows are good too.
Mostly because you're not going to get any better if you don't do them. If you never draw the damn legs in full, then you won't ever be able to. Push through the sucking and the crappy stuff now. It'll help a lot, for the future.

Sound advice.
Re: Fan Art
I did the draw the feet... I mean... foot... bit... see, right there behind the cat's guard..?
Re: Fan Art
The one foot behind the cat's guard is not as clearly visible as the three feet that aren't on the ground.
It's good practice to draw whatever body part is touching the ground, and/or to draw a shadow where the ground would be. That way, you will be better able to draw characters that don't look like they're floating, and characters who are standing in the right point in perspective.
Also, if you aren't comfortable with drawing normal shadows, you're going to have trouble drawing shadows when the lightning is dramatic. This seems to be a photo manipulation, but it illustrates the point quite well.
Besides, when the drawings are so good otherwise, it's a pity that you left holes in it! The poses are good, there's a feeling of action, the coloring works, etc.
