Thanks anyway, turns out with the normalmap shader takes the specular from the alpha channel, but no transparency. The cubemapalpha shader had normals with alphatransparency but a generic world specular. And I tried the plant shader which had normal specular and alpha transparency and it just crashes lol >.<
So the best I can get atm is either normal+spec or normal+transparency. And I'd like a colour specular
sigh I haven't hand written shaders since jediknight2.... so Its very unlikely I'll be poking around glsl anytime soon either lol.
btw I spawned rabbot earlier and just as I was about to start beatboxing I noticed he only had 1 arm >.<

Oops, that is a bug in cubemapalpha then. In the next alpha, it will also use spec from the normal alpha map. If you care to fix it before then, open cubemapalpha.frag and change line 45 from "color = diffuse_color * colormap.xyz + spec_color * colormap.a;" to "color = diffuse_color * colormap.xyz + spec_color * normalmap.a;"

wow great work on that rat model i don't know if it would be asking too much of wolfire but it would be cool if they let you attach that model of your to rabbot in some way so that you could play as him or fight him if it was the enemy rabbit anyways hes awesome i hope they put him in at least one alpha like they did for that fan made map a while back =D keep it up
