no water?
then how come it's called overgrowth?
Plants need water to overgrow, even to live.
Cripes! That's a good point there. Why didn't any of us think of that in the Great Battle for Water of 2008?

So who was the generals? Whaleman vs Neptune?

I'm not sure the Whaleman had matured around that point yet... and I haven't seen Neptune around here.
But it was mostly Creativity, Beauty and Gameplay that fought Programming, Time and Planning to bring water into the picture, and I'm afraid they lost.

I preordered NS2 the day it was available to do so. I've had a passing interest in Overgrowth; but now I get both games anyway, so sweet!

"Francis Style" I hate Pre-order.

Seriously. First time I ever Pre-order and what do I get? Lots of problems. Still waiting an e-mail message. I think this might be the first and the last time I ever pre-order anything.

Hey Glasses, you can reach us instantly via AIM, MSN, Yahoo, IRC, or a ton of other methods.

We are here for you!

Please let us know the problem and we will fix it immediately. Furthermore, we have a 100% refund policy, so in the worst case scenario, nothing happened. :)

Sorry you are having such a bad experience.

Also, please don't let me ruin the reputation of other people's preorders. Just because we messed up doesn't mean you shouldn't support other indie developers.

Junk mail box?

Don't think of it as pre-ordering though, think of it as making an investment :o

Seriously this is how a lot of indie games fund themselves these days, and I reckon it's a pretty interesting economic model - there was a guy ranting about it ages ago: why do we pay $100 for something like Assassin's Creed refuse to shell out $10 for an indie game that might actually do something new and different for a change?
If games are bought during development (via preorder) then they live or die based on the idea behind them, not the eye-candy-you'll-never-see-because-you-don't-have-a-super-computer. Preorders are therefore a way of encouraging the development of new and interesting games.

If anyone can find that video I'd be grateful :?
