because last i checked, the rule for games was that you can [legally] download it as many times as you want (esp for a compatibility update) from wherever as long as you have proof that you own a copy (working or not) of the game
i may be mistaken though

Oh, sorry, I guess I didn't formulate that properly:
I am at this moment in time in possession of but one computer which is in fact a Mac. This mac, however, while still fully functional and brilliant for it's time, is as of now outdated to the point of being a PPC machine, as opposed to, say, a new-fledged mac with an Intel processor, which would be capable of running the aforementioned Intel port, which the PPC version, which is the one I am in possession of, can not.

That cleared it up for you? =D
