I may be a little behind my times here, (i will blame it on being pre-occupied by the Wolfire Blog) but this is some physics tech that is new to me at least, I thought i would post it here, just to spread the cool, and see if there could be any use for, or in-house analogue of this sort of simulation.

It's "Havok Cloth" pretty outrageously accurate cloth and soft body physics simulation, runtime and tools, the dress and varying materials vids are particularly Awesome to me, looking forward to saying good riddance to ye olde clipping problems and unrealistic constraints of yore.

Take a look: http://www.havok.com/content/view/584/96/

We all know Lugaru was before it's time with Ragdolls, thought this might be of interest to all the Folks here.

Oh, And Happy 09 everyone,

Cloth physics has been discussed before I think, but I don't think those topics had links to videos like this. I think it would be neat to have cloth physics, especially if we could tear the clothes with weapons and such.

(one of these days I need to make my 'multiplayer customization' topic...)

I belive David has confermed Cloth physics and Breakable cloth, but I may be wrong.
